Jacqui Matz slipped away quietly, with family by her side, on August 17, 2023.
 
Diagnosed with cancer nearly two years ago, Jacqui faced down those challenges with grace and dignity.
 
Her absence will be felt deeply by those she touched as a devoted mother, daughter, sister, wife, grandmother, friend, and unyielding force.
 
For those of you who knew Jacqui, you would know her dedication to helping others, her commitment to her religion as well as to her family and friends. She led by example, always being there, doing what needed to be done.
 
Jacqui was a freedom fighter. She was relentless when it came to spiritual freedom and our future. She fought hard for her children and her grandchildren. She was all in.
